Renee Kohl was born near Jonesboro, Arkansas. She began her professional career teaching and writing curriculum, and eventually moved into the field of social work. Kohl obtained a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma. She now devotes most of her time to writing poems, short stories, and novels. Kohl currently resides in Oklahoma City, where she enjoys collecting vintage art prints. She also takes great pleasure in traveling for the purpose of doing research for her writing projects.
