"I live in my own little world, but it's okay. They know me here!" More fact than fiction, probably. I've always loved fantasy fiction, and as a child, imagined that I was Alice, peering through the looking glass at an exciting new world.
I began writing my series, Cynthia's Attic, in 2000. Three books later (The Missing Locket, The Magic Medallion, and Curse of the Bayou), I'm still going strong, well into the fourth book, The Magician's Castle.
This time-travel series in which twelve-year-old best friends, Cynthia and Gus, travel back to time to 1914 and meet their twelve-year-old grandmothers, is family friendly, and encourages young readers to explore their own genealogy.
I'm also excited that I have a non-fiction book that will be published in July titled, Women Only Over Fifty (WOOF). A funny, light-hearted break from the normal spin of the world, WOOF celebrates (and laughs at) the aging process, and gives us a chance to howl at the moon.
