A perpetual dieter, raging chocoholic, and diehard research junkie, Daisy Dexter Dobbs writes romance and women’s fiction. She’s a wife, mom and eternally optimistic realist who colors outside the lines.
Set her in the midst of a big neighborhood garage sale and she’s in seventh heaven for hours. (For the purposes of this bio, Daisy’s packrat tendencies and frightening likelihood that she’ll become one of those little old ladies surrounded by floor-to-ceiling stacks of newspapers one day will be ignored.)
Daisy enjoys sprinkling ample doses of humor throughout her stories. She believes laughter is not only great medicine, but the music of the soul. Knowing that her artwork or something she's written has brightened someone’s day with a smile or a good dose of laughter enriches her life beyond measure.
Those of you who don't wear a size zero might appreciate the fact that many of her books feature double-digit sized heroines. Daisy’s sorry, but if she can't fit her womanly butt into itty-bitty doll clothes, then neither can her heroines. (Yes, Daisy was once thin for about 2 1/2 precious minutes, but that doesn’t count.)
Happily married to her soulmate, the award winning artist and writer believes in love, happily-ever-afters and the wondrous, magical escapism of reading and writing.
