Chris Howard grew up all over — Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Presidio of San Franscisco, France, Germany, and Japan. He still enjoys traveling, but has settled in Coastal New Hampshire with his wife and two wonderful kids.
In 2007, he won the Robert Heinlein Centennial Short Story Contest (amateur division) with “Hammers and Snails.” Seaborn (Juno Books) is his first novel, and it is the middle book in "The Seaborn Trilogy", which begins with Saltwater Witch, and ends with Sea Throne.
He paints in watercolors and digital format. His two websites, http://theophrast.us and www.SaltwaterWitch.com are packed with art, character studies, essays, short stories, and more.
