I’m the author of Ahead of the Curve – Two Years at Harvard Business School, which is published outside the US as What They Teach You at Harvard Business School. I split my time between rural Connecticut and New York. I write some journalism, am preparing to write a second book and pursue a number of entrepreneurial endeavors with varying degrees of success.
I was born in Dacca, Bangladesh, where my father worked as a Church of England missionary and my mother spent four years after leaving Burma with her family. I grew up in England, moved to the United States in 1998 and except for two and a half years in France have been here ever since. No one believes me when I tell them, but I’m a big Yankees fan.
