I read, write and live in Texas with my husband and four young sons. I have a penchant for adrenaline-infused madness such as rock climbing (don’t ask), running marathons (bad for the knees), and jumping off bridges (not recommended) – as if raising four boys were not adventure enough. I am the Co-Director of She Reads, a national online book club. My first novel, Eye of the God, revolves around the legendary curse of the Hope Diamond. When not immersed in a book, changing a diaper, or rescuing my dog from the death-grip of a toddler, you can find me right here.

I’ve been married to this guy for ten years. He suckered me with the dimples. And the green eyes. And the Texas accent. He also happens to be an amazing father and more than I deserve in a husband (seriously, he does the dishes – often).

And these guys? Be amazed that they sat still long enough to take the picture. And that they didn’t fall in the water. They have two speeds: running and asleep. I don’t get much done.
