HOMESCHOOLING ABBEY: YOUR BASIC MOM TRIES HOME EDUCATION & TELLS ALL is my first breakout from YA and was a blast to write!! Abbey and I have been homeschooling for five years and we wanted to share our thoughts. I did not have any religious belief that inclined us to homeschool, nor did I think I would be a better teacher than what lay up the street. It happened haphazzardly, but now I feel that if I could get 5,000 American families to give up their fears and try this, I would be happy to have written this memoir.
