 Born in 1599, Jeremiah Burroughs was admitted to Emmanuel Collage, Cambridge in 1617. While at Emmanuel Collage Burroughs was tutored by the Puritan preacher Thomas Hooker. Burroughs graduated from Emmanuel Collage with a BA degree in 1621, and a MA degree in 1621.
