  Eric E. Wiggin was born on a farm in Albion, Maine, in 1939.  As a former Maine pastor, Yankee school-teacher, news reporter, and editor of a Maine-published Christian newspaper, Wiggin is intimately familiar with the Pine Tree State and her people.
  
  Wiggin's thirteen novels for youth and adults are set in rural or small-town Maine.  He now lives in rural Fruitport, Michigan with his wife, Dorothy.
