Peter and Cheryl Barnes are a husband and wife writing/illustrating team that specializes in educational books for children. They are creators of the best-selling "Woodrow, the White House Mouse" and other children's books that teach young readers about government and civics. Peter is a journalist and broadcaster who reports on public policy issues in Washington, D.C. Peter and Cheryl have two children and live in Alexandria, Virginia.
