Kathy Tyers (edit name/settings)

Kathy Tyers is the bestselling author of Star Wars: Truce at Bakura, Star Wars: Balance Point (both of which made the New York Times Bestseller list when they were published) and the Firebird Trilogy. She has written a total of ten science fiction novels, including the original version of Firebird and the Bethany House rewrites.
Kathy earned a degree in microbiology from Montana State University, a Diploma of Christian Studies from Regent College in Vancouver, BC, and is working toward a Master’s degree. In 2001, she received the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference’s Pacesetter award. She has played flute in the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and mentors apprentice students in the Christian Writers Guild.
