“Faeries of Dreamdark: Blackbringer is author Laini Taylor’s first novel. Laini lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, artist Jim Di Bartolo, who created the cover art and interior drawings for the book. In one blog interview, Laini suggested there may be as many as five Faeries of Dreamdark novels. The second, "Dreamdark: Silksinger" is scheduled for a September, 2009 release while an unrelated book, “Lips Touch” which contains three short stories of supernatural love, is scheduled for release in October, 2009. Both are available for pre-order on Amazon.
Laini is also an artist with a line of gifts and stationary called “Laini’s Ladies”. She and Jim are expecting a baby girl later this year.
