Kyle Pratt is an author and blogger. In March of 2009 he began blogging about northwest regional and national politics from a paleo-conservative, Christian and economic libertarian perspective. Later that year he established Ruminations Media Group and now blogs at Ruminationsblog.com.
In July of 2012 he released his debut novel, Titan Encounter. His second book, Final Duty – The Alien War Anthology, was released in January of 2013. A third novel is scheduled for release in the summer of 2013. You can read more about his novels at KyleonKindle.com
While his books have been well received they still do not pay the bills. During the school year Kyle lives and teaches in Eek, a remote Eskimo village on the Kuskokwim delta of Alaska. “I telecommute from the tundra,” he quips. During the summer months he lives in Chehalis, Washington State.
Kyle’s first career was as a Cryptologic Technician in the Navy. From this position he watched the growth and evolution of computers, the Internet and the Worldwide Web. Originally, he planned and studied for a civilian career in technology. However, even before retiring from the navy, he was writing political commentary and short stories.
When he is not teaching in Alaska, Kyle and his wife of 35 years, live on a small farm in Western Washington State
