Peggy Moss Fielding is a native of Oklahoma who has spent several years outside the U.S.A. in Cuba, Japan and the Republic of the Philippines. She now lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she is a fulltime writer of both fiction and nonfiction. Under her tutelage, her former students have gone on to write and publish more than 350 books.
She has published hundreds of articles and short stories, several nonfiction books and has sold both contemporary and historical romance novels.
Recently Fielding was aworded "OWFI Mentor of the Year" at the Oklahoma City conference. This is the first time this award has been given.
After graduating from high school at Oilton, Oklahoma in Creek County, she earned a BS in Education from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, and a Master's degree and a Phd from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, R.P.
Peggy is a member of Tulsa NightWriters, Oklahoma Mystery Writers, Women Writing the West, Romance Writers of America, OK-RWA -- Oklahoma City chapter of RWA, RWI -- Tulsa Chapter of RWA as well as Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. (OWFI), the National Authors Guild, Inc. and Sisters in Crime.
