Born in Richmond, Virginia in the days of disco. At college, I didn't mesh well
with pretentious, type-A financiers of public ivy, so, I shunned Wall Street
and aimed for the LAPD. In LA for my interview, I choked and decided
instead to drive south to wander Mexico. Returning to Virginia, I entered
corporate America, met my wife, traded Catholicism for Islam, got married,
and found stability. Stability got old, so I ditched my job, green-carded my
foreign bride and moved to Australia earning graduate degrees in computer
science and information technology, breaking frequently to travel. After wandering
the globe post-graduation, I landed in New York re-entering the corporate world.
During a trip to Mt. Everest, an epiphany told me I hated my new-found job.
Upon return to Brooklyn, I ditched my job, traded Islam for confusion and
hibernated in my apartment to focus on my quiet love since college, writing.
