A little background info on me:

"Finding Emmaus" (pronounced em-AY-us) is my first work of historical fiction and it is book one of The Lodestarre series.

I was born in New York City in 1953. Just prior to my eighteenth birthday, my family relocated to Connecticut, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from Eastern Connecticut State University.

I come from creative, courageous stock: a grandfather who, after emigrating to the US from Austria in the 1920’s, became an iron worker and joined the ranks of those who left their legacy in the form of New York City's incomparable skyline, and my REAL hero, my grandmother, whose strength, courage and unfailing confidence taught me that nothing and no one can keep you from your heart’s desire without your permission and your cooperation.

A former English teacher, I am also a Registered Reader at both the Royal Society of London and the British Library, as well as a member of the Connecticut Historical Society and the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. As a member of a private club, I work with the sommelier managing the wine list and I also enjoy public speaking, Appaloosa horses, pepperoni pizza and London, England … though not necessarily in that order…

I live in rural Connecticut now and am presently at work on my second novel, book two of The Lodestarre Series.
