Sharon Potts (edit name/settings)

Sharon Potts is a former business executive, entrepreneur, CPA, and soccer mom. She grew up in New York City and didn't learn to ride a bike or drive a car until she was twenty-one, though she did master the art of reading a newspaper on a jolting subway car.

She attended college at CUNY's Queens College and received a master's degree from New York University's Stern School of Business. A CPA, Sharon worked in public accounting before migrating to Florida, where she was a managing director of an international staffing company and president of an executive search/accounting recruitment firm. She wrote her first psychological thriller, In Their Blood, after retiring from the business world.

Sharon is an active member of the Mystery Writers of America and served as the treasurer of the Florida chapter and as co-chair of SleuthFest, its annual writers' conference.

She has two grown children and lives in Miami Beach with her husband, Joe.
