Writing childish stories for her own pleasure led to majoring in English at college. Like most English majors, she dreamed of writing a novel, but at that time in her life didn't have the necessary focus and follow through. Then life happened. A husband and children occupied the next twenty years and it was only in 2000 that she began writing again.

Bonnie Dee lives a quiet life with her family completely the opposite of her characters’ adventures. Her style is down to earth and her characters will feel like well-known friends by the time you’ve finished reading. If you’re used to a strong alpha male in romances, don’t expect it here. While her heroes are manly, they’re not aggressively macho. She is interested in flawed, often damaged, people who find the fulfillment they seek in one another.
