John Twelve Hawks is the author of the 2005 dystopian novel 'The Traveler' and the its sequels 'The Dark River' and 'The Golden City. His identity is unknown and he has never met his editor. He usually communicates using the Internet and an untraceable satellite phone with a voice scrambler. John Twelve Hawks stated in an interview that he has no intention of going public regarding his identity.
