miss twiggy's tree house - when i read this book as a young girl. i read about a woman who was not liked because she had bears as friends. i read in the end because of the storm that everyone in town came to her and she opened her home and was kindhearted. now as an adult maybe this book was before it's time maybe the woman had bears as friends, people who are different than us. people are scared of different things and less likely to become friends but than the storm handles that. this book represents diversity at it's finest. i didn't realize that as a child, only now as an adult can i fully appreaciate this book. warm regards, cagrowngirl
