Bob is a  former U. S. Marine and has been married to my lovely wife Susan for over thirty-four years. They have two daughters and seven grand-children! He was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and worked for the Buffalo Board of Education for twenty-three years as a computer operator at city hall.

At present, he owns B4HEART Publishing and www.B4HEARTplus.com. He also the creator of www.B4HEART.com and a Preferred Author on www.writing.com/authors/b 4heart. I am working on a novel entitled 'Social Security', which I intend on publishing shortly!

Robert James Karpie is a student of the human condition, wielding the written craft to enrapture the mind much like an artist wields a brush. The pages are a blank canvas on which to draw from a talent heralded by many and matched only by an imagination that rises to the task. ‘Surprise’, is the first in a series of Spiritual Enlightenment for the whole family, with work progressing quickly on the follow-up. Bob is also working on a novel entitled ‘Social Security’ and has a short story for children, ‘Mayan’s Paradise’, ready to be published.
