Mary has done it again. This book was really good. I read Petticoat Ranch and loved it but this book is even better.
We meet up with charators from Petticoat Ranch again which was good, but this book focus's on Grace and Daniel. Grace is a school teacher and Daniel is a widower of 5 boys. Grace is having trouble controlling the boys and Daniel cant work out why she has a problem. Due to circumstances they end up married (This is one interesting scene). Mary uses humor which makes the story even better. As you get into the story you learn more about both Grace and Daniel, You learn Grace had a hard life and after an life changing incident she remembers she is strong and we see her grow and become much stronger. The Boys also have a major hand in this story. If you have ever been around 5 young boys full of energy you will know what a handful they can be. This book is a wonderful read. my advise is dont start it just before going to bed as you may not want to put it down.

I read this having not read book one and did take a little to follow to start with. Also I am sure this will be a great book for teens. I am a bit older and although I enjoyed it I am not the target readership and did feel that. I am going to let some teens from church read this as I am sure they will really enjoy this book.

  • Ryan Watters And The King's Sword (The Annals of Aeliana)
    • Rated 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book It reminded me of when I first read the Chronicles of Narnia. Ryann Watters has a quest to find the Kings Sword, while Drake has a quest to do all he can to stop Ryann. Its a story of good forces v's evil forces. Ryann and his friends find there way to Aeliana where all the adventures start. This is a great fantasy and as adventure books aimed at around 10 - 14 years but old children and Adults are sure to love this book too if they enjoyed the chronicles of Narnia. This book is well writen and alot of good lessons in the story also.

I loved this book. I didn't want to put it down at all. Amy is a strong women who has an accident early in the book. Shes on her way to Alaska when she encounters Bradan Rafferty who not knowing about her accident mistakes her for a women needing lots of help. Mary uses alot of humour in the book and add some drama its a really good book. I love reading about Alaska and this book doesn't disappoint. It was full of adventure and a real page turner. There were several turns which added a surprise element. I would have to give this book also a 5 out of 5. I can honestly say I was wanting to keep reading when the book ended.

  • Sanctuary (Faith of Our Fathers Series #1)
    • Rated 5 stars

Sanctuary is a riveting read about Rachel Levin a Jewess and Pierre Dupre an Huguenot. Rachel love ones are murdered in 1740 and she and Pierre seek refuge in a Church until a military captain who killed her family arrives. We then see Rachel and Pierre married in a marriage of connivance and see them flee the clutches of the captain hoping to reach Scotland. This story was riveting seeing how the Jews and Huguenots were persecuted and watching to see if Rachel and Pierre's would escape the clutches of the captain. I found this book very hard to put down and wanting to read just a bit more each time to see what would happen next. They way Molly writes is captivating and brings the characters to life. I cant wait for the next book in the series. This is definitely a book I would recommend.
