LOL! I guess I was thinking that so many people count the number of books they read, but with that Long Book Challenge at PBT happening, one book could be the same number of pages as 3 or 4 smaller books, so if you add up the pages instead...

Anyway, I don't know if you count the books you read, or are doing the long book challenge or if you read very many books that are super-long, so don't worry about it if you're not interested. I sent the invite to my friends from PBT, because I couldn't remember who was doing the long book thing.

Last year was the very first time I counted the number of books I read (except in grade 7, when our teacher wanted us to!), so I thought I'd do this one for something different. Plus I am attempting to read a couple of insanely long books as well.

It is called the Weeping Angel. It's a replica of one in a French cemetary done by a famous sculptor. There are 6 or so of the replicas in the US - mostly in the south. I didn't photograph it - wish I had! I think it is beautiful.

I love Doctor Who - and one of my favorite episodes is Blink, in which a girl is warned to beware the weeping angel. Of course, the Doctor Who weeping angels are ugly assassins, but I love the phrase "Beware the Weeping Angel." So this photo suits my need for being both beautiful and bizzare.

I use labyrinthlocator all the time--wasn't aware there was a fee! Perhaps to post a labyrinth location, but not to use just to find one?

I teach a course on labyrinths to college students, so this is one of my loves!

Our lesson was that we needed an evacuation plan for the guinea pig that would not expose her to the intense interest of the three dogs. As it happened she stayed home to guard the house until our return.

I know how it feels. I've spent a night in a parking lot with the car packed with photos ,documents, a boy and three dogs.
