    LOL!!!!!! Well I saw movies 3-5 before reading any of the books ( for several reasons including working at borders during book 3 and 4 releases and swearing NEVER to read any of thema fter that-and because child (now almost grown teen) pulled me to seen 3 4 and 5 and then read all of 7 in a two week time-for a non reader WOW so then I sat down and read all of them LOL but loved snape from book one)

    Sounds like serious fun. My family and I swap books among us and then either my mom or sister take them to swap at a second hand store. Therefore, most of what I have aren't mine to trade. However, I do have one of my own "Addressing Spirits" if you would like to swap something for it. So, you don't ever read Stephen King, or just that particular one? What was it?

    Anyway, you popped up for me because you had read The Shaman's Game and I have just finished it. I was looking at your bookshelf and it seems totally eclectic to me. Is this because of the "swapping" thing?

    No problem. I didn't even think of that when I posted it. Yea I have been here 9 years. I work on all the people that are on probation and try to get them sent to prison. I like it, but sometimes you have to wonder what these judges are thinking :-)

    Auntie - You are super! Thank you so much for doing that for me. I've added some titles to my "wish list." Any format is fine. Some of my books were old library copies, as both my mom and I were/are librarians. Some were book club selections, too, from when my mom was young. My taste ranges all over the scale - or as my brother once said - I really have NO taste!

    Anyway, I would be happy to reimburse people for any costs. The possibility of getting a few old favorites back means a lot to me.

    Thanks Auntie, I was hoping the person who "read" the book would at least give a brief synopsis, a reason why they read the book or would (or would not) recommend us to read it. The person is an "editor" so I'd thought they'd know that too, didn't even bother responding. I guess I was also trying to get some type of discussion going. Most people just want to list what they've read and leave it at that. Ha! I was trying to socialize, imagine that, on a social network....
