    Those are our N. American river otters, Zoe and Nero (Zoe is the one standing up). Our exhibit is probably similar to the one you saw. There are 3 windows to view from, one if which is primarily under water and they swim right up to the glass. Kids love that they can 'put' their hands right up to them.

    Zeinab sounds like a very sweet girl. I'm a cat person myself. We just adopted a Tom Cat, named Cougar and he is quite a chacter. He definitely lives up to his name. He loves to do sneak attacks and he'll steal the food from your hands. lol
    We're still getting used to him. :o)

    ooooh, nice! My parents had a couple of manx, as well. One of them was part siamese as well. Lilac point, maybe? More of a grey anyway. I grew up with siamese cats. When I was younger, it was the only kind my dad would have.

    Hi Kimberly-Ann, Yes, it is me. :) Yes, Pep or Pepper is my family nickname. Thinking i might make it my legal first name. How are things in your part of the Golden State? Is you library a big one? Or a branch? What county are you in? My fantasy is to collect library cards from every library there is! Haha. So far, I have cards from Sacramento, Woodland, Davis, Fresno, Bakersfield, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, Colo. Better than baseball cards...:) take care...
