I'm a retired/disabled former legal secretary. I spend a good bit of time on Multiply at http://auntb93also/multiply.com and Yahoo! Answers. I've been doing book and DVD reviews on my Multiply page ever since I gave up on Yahoo! 360. I'm not certain about whether or not I have read some books, especially ones from very prolific authors. Hi auntb...you asked about cheap bookcases...I'd try craigslist. You can even find free stuff there.

I can speak French quite well and Italian but reading in the language is a bit on the difficult side. I also learnt Russian for 10 years, but now that I am at last retired I was thinking about taking it up again. I have read a few books by French and Spanish authors, but not in the origianal language. I can understand Spanish, but not speak it very well. I never actually learnt Latin, although it is a great advantage when understanding the romance languages.

I live in the German speaking part of Switzerland for the past 42 years. My husband is Swiss and although he speaks good english, we converse mainly in German at home, actually a dialect Swiss German. I also speak to my children in Swiss German. I can read German as well as English, although I make too many mistakes to actually write in German. If the original and author of the book is in German, I read it in German. If the original book is English, I read it in english. That is why I have a bit of a mixture on my Shelfari pages.

Thank You. I would be glad to do so. Presently, I just finished "Another Path into Healing." It is a Hospice Fundraiser. I may make my way through your area. Who knows.

Born in 67 so my innerself is a hippie at heart. He he! Yeah, you got love Luther for breaking off and sticking to his guns. My religious beliefs are a bit different than most because I believe in the guardian angels (an experience with my son at the age of 2 1/2 when I brought home my newborn daughter story) and I love reading Slyvia Browne stuff. Ghosts and spirits are here.....I watch the shows Medium and Ghost Whisper and these are based off real people. A free spirited Lutheran [---------- thats me. My Catholic in-laws think I'm a freak! WhooooHooooo
