When I'm planning a trip, I'll get books about the area and famous people who have lived there.
In addition to reading, I make small quilts and create craft projects. I painted a large blank outside wall of my house with trees and hung bird houses and lizards in the trees.
I also like gardening and have recently started growing orchids.
