Atomic Fez is an independent book publisher that operates as fast as one man can manage as a full-time concern – pretty much on his own – and the ultimate goal is to release damned good books which are equally well-written and entertaining. Both paper books and e-books are published, and Atomic Fez tries to ensure they’re as economical as possible.
While there’s no such thing as book with an ‘error-free text’, both paper and electronic books are checked multiple times for grammatical, spelling, and typographical errors before being released to you, the discerning public. However, there’s a reason that Mark Twain said that “the surest way to locate a typographical error is to publish it”.
Books ought to be seen as ‘fun’ more than they have been lately. There’s great value in analyzing themes and so on, but the “entertainment value” or “readability” of a book seems to be given short shrift by some as being something less than admirable on an artistic level. Atomic Fez leaps up on chairs or tables and cries “NAY!” to this concept, promoting the enjoyment of the process wherein letters forming words are processed by eye-balls and then translated by brains into concepts and tales; IE: “reading a story”.
