I am the Moon everywhere and nowhere.Do not seek me outside;I abide in your very life.Everybody calls you towards himself;I invite you nowhere except to yourself.Poetry is like the boat and its meaning is like the sea:Come onboard at once!Let me sail this boat!–Rumi
Hi, I just posted a very special interview with Juile Lessman, author of "A Passion Most Pure". She is giving away a copy of her book if you leave a comment on my blog. Check it out www.psalm516.blogspot.com. She'll be giving the book away next week.
I know what you mean about sexual scenes. I hate it when a book has to go into detail on that kind of thing. I was reading a book called The Reincarnationist recently, and there was a very vivid(and corny)sex scene. I actually stopped reading the book. I don't know. It just turned me off to the whole thing, and it had been interesting before that scene.
Hey, I see you've read Water for Elephants. This book was suggested to a friend of mine, and I looked it up...but I don't know if it is the book for me. Is there a lot about animal abuse/neglect? What about it made it crude? Should I read it? I'm really unsure about it, and I don't want to read something that makes me feel all weird inside(That sounds lame, but do you know what I mean?).
I fully plan on writing reviews...very soon! I only found this site because of the shelf on your myspace profile. I looove it! I'm having a bit of a difficult time remembering books that I've read in the past 10 years or so, but I seem to remember every book I ever read growing up. Strange. Anyway, this site rocks my socks! I can't wait to go through your shelf:D
Hello, I am Ben, I just joint the King Arthur group. I have enjoyed browsing your shelf. I have added the Jack Whyte books to my wish list. I had read his Knights of the Black and White, and I will get his next book in that series. I enjoyed his writing style.
How do you like PILLARS OF THE EARTH so far? I'm about halfway through, and as I am a relatively slow reader, it's taking me awhile. I like it, but so far I'm not sure what all of the hype is about.
Hey, TOBG Chat is planned for April 11 at 10 pm EST/7pm PST. Just pm me if you want the password.
I loved it, I had the hardest time putting it down! I haven't seen the movie yet, it hasn't made it to the theaters here, but I've heard it wasn't as good as the book.
Hey! I saw that you just posted that you read The Other Boleyn Girl, and loved it! That's our March selection, would love to have you come by and join us for the discussion at the end of March on the PO BCBS board!!
Haven't seen you on the book club board in a bit. We're picking a new selection, would love to have you come by and vote and read it with us!
Stopping by to say Happy Valentine.
Hey girl!! =-D
May the good times and treasures of the present become the golden memories of tomorrow.Wish you lots of love, joy and happiness. Happy New Year.
Thanks for accepting my invitation. I will enjoy your bookshelf. I love anything by Francine Rivers, and "Captivating" is not only one of my all-time favorites, but the most helpful book I have ever read. A MUST READ for women, and for the men who love them. I'm reading "Wild At Heart" next to understand my man!
I'm so excited that I get to read for pleasure during the next month!!!!! I'm still on hold for BOSAA. Ugh! Waiting ... waiting ... And you know - I think I'll take you up on that advice as to what I should read next.
Thanks for accepting my invitation. Many of the books on your shelf look good and many others I have read.
Thank you for accepting my invitation.
Hi. Keep up the good reading
I know, I know. I just wanted to bug you and get a quick synopsis. You find the best books to read.
