Reading is an addiction for me. I read to escape, to learn, to dream, and to live.

I will give anything a try. I love excellent writing, deep characters, moral lessons, interesting storylines. I love falling in love with the characters and feeling like I know them personally. I love being surprised and being on the edge of my seat. I... more »

Hey! Have you read _Pillars of the Earth_? I really think you'd like it! I'm reading it now and I'm only on page 200 but I think it may be your kind of book. It's long, intense, and it's historical fiction (to a point).

Hi, I just posted a very special interview with Juile Lessman, author of "A Passion Most Pure". She is giving away a copy of her book if you leave a comment on my blog. Check it out www.psalm516.blogspot.com. She'll be giving the book away next week.

I know what you mean about sexual scenes. I hate it when a book has to go into detail on that kind of thing. I was reading a book called The Reincarnationist recently, and there was a very vivid(and corny)sex scene. I actually stopped reading the book. I don't know. It just turned me off to the whole thing, and it had been interesting before that scene.

Hey, I see you've read Water for Elephants. This book was suggested to a friend of mine, and I looked it up...but I don't know if it is the book for me. Is there a lot about animal abuse/neglect? What about it made it crude? Should I read it? I'm really unsure about it, and I don't want to read something that makes me feel all weird inside(That sounds lame, but do you know what I mean?).

I fully plan on writing reviews...very soon! I only found this site because of the shelf on your myspace profile. I looove it! I'm having a bit of a difficult time remembering books that I've read in the past 10 years or so, but I seem to remember every book I ever read growing up. Strange. Anyway, this site rocks my socks! I can't wait to go through your shelf:D

Hello, I am Ben, I just joint the King Arthur group. I have enjoyed browsing your shelf. I have added the Jack Whyte books to my wish list. I had read his Knights of the Black and White, and I will get his next book in that series. I enjoyed his writing style.

How do you like PILLARS OF THE EARTH so far? I'm about halfway through, and as I am a relatively slow reader, it's taking me awhile. I like it, but so far I'm not sure what all of the hype is about.

I loved it, I had the hardest time putting it down! I haven't seen the movie yet, it hasn't made it to the theaters here, but I've heard it wasn't as good as the book.
