I'm browsing the top 20 most recently active friends' shelves to see how many books we have in common now.
    Result: 75.

As a parent of a teen girl, I can see where there can be a few worries but I thought that it was a very fun set of books to read. My daughter and her friends are in love with the series. She pointed out that some of the concerns that people are raising online about the effect that the series will have on teens morals and ethics are moslty unfounded. Teens are smarter than that and do understand the difference between reality and fiction.

We have 33 books in common and few other things too. I love to crochet, country music and I certainly was disappointed in Temperance and Booth's kiss this past season. Lol.

If you stick with the Cedar cove Series you wont be disappointed. I promise.

Someone told me about that you can click on a person's shelf and look at the bottom left for "books in common". If you click on that, it'll show you what they are. Pretty neat! I'm going to bug all my buddies ...

    Books in common: 96

I haven't done any quilting either but hope to try one of these days. My Mom and I keep saying that we're going to do quilts one of these days but we never seem to get to it and we're only 20 minutes apart! LOL One of these days we will. : )

I just pulled the 4th one of the Earlene Fowler series out so I can get to it soon.

Hi AsThePagesTurn, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, busy running day!

I have heard of Monica Ferris and even have a few but haven't read them yet. I haven't heard of Maggie Sefton though. I'll have to look her up. Have you read Earlene Fowler? She does quilts. I've read the first few of hers and want to get back to her.

You have a lot of books on your shelf that I've read at one time or another, VC Andrews in particular. I think the last series I read was the Ruby series and that's been a long time ago. I have all of them, just haven't read them.

I've only got the books on my shelf that I've read since joining so it won't reflect a lot of the same books that you have.

I'm reading "Comanche Moon" Larry McMurtry right now so I can watch the mini series that starts on Sunday.

There's a lot of fun books on your shelf. I've read around 3/4 of those myself. My favorite: Victoria Laurie.
