Hi.. Just stopping by to see if you have added any new books. I hope you are doing great. My time in Ireland was fantastic. Today I'm at home... sitting in bed. ~smile~ I just got home from the dentist I had a wisom tooth pulled. Now I'm wondering if my face will swell up or if I'll be able to go to the cinema tonight. ~grin~ We will see. It sure is nice having this site though. I'm able to look at all the books and it takes my mind off the pain in my jaw. Have a great day~~
Hi! I just wanted to leave you a quick note to let you know that I will be leaving for Ireland in the morning. Normally when I travel I am put into hotels that do not have WiFi access. So this will be my last note to you before I return the early part of next week. I hope you will be able to spend your weekend doing something fun also.. and spend some wonderful hours lost in the pages of an exciting book.
Yes, your note worked this time and it was wonderful to hear from you once again. The book Sisters sounds like a book I would enjoy reading. I love history and stories of strong women. I will have to start looking for it. I have lived all over the world also, so I know exactly how you feel .. in a way somehow being from all over. I haven't been to Hong Kong before, but I have lived in four different places in Japan.. making up a little over seven years of my life.. {at different times of course. ~smile~}
Hello. No I didn't see any note posted by you. I don't think my note section is full since so many other people that I have seen have far more than I have. I think maybe you are running into the same problem I had when I started. I have found that if the little line that flashes as you write isn't at the very end of the note it will not post. I wrote and wrote to my mom.. before I figured out that if I just made sure the line was flashing at the end when I hit post that all would work perfectly. My problem is that after I would type out a note I would go back and make sure all was written properly.. causing the line to be in the middle of my note somewhere.. and it would just disappear without posting. I hope this will help you. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Oh.. Quick question: The book "The Sisters", is it good? You have it on your shelf but you haven't written an opinion of it yet. It looks like something I would enjoy reading. I have never heard of it before.
I went and clicked on the explore button today and saw that you had signed in shortly after I had. I chose to click on your page because of all the little icons showing I liked your best. I saw you were from Hong Kong.. and thought that I probably wouldn't know any of the books you had read. Wow.. was I in for a shock!! I think we like the same types of books. You have eight books that I have on my shelf already.. and four more just on the first page that I have written down and plan on adding in the week ahead. I only put up three a day.. and only ones I have read. Today marks my first week of being a part of the shelfari site. Are you reading the two books you have on your Reading List shelf now.. or are you planning on reading those. I am reading the book I have on my reading list shelf. I'll move it to my have read it shelf when I finish. I'm so glad I found your shelf have a great day~
