Finally I had some time on my hands to fill in my profile and stumbled upon this little space here and thought to tell you all a bit about myself.
I loved reading as from an early age but I as well was very chaotic so didn't really make it my number 1 hobby till in my early twenties but ever since it's been evolved from hobby to addiction and now just can't stop on either reading, reviewing or working on the website which I co-own my sister (in blood as well as soul!) the URL is : www.realmsonourbookshelves.com .
I love every genre on our bookshelves, from contemporary to thrillers to paranormal to regency to historical or erotic. As long as the built up in a story can keep me enchanted its a novel for me. But their has to be a good story behind a novel otherwise it's in the bin for me. As a reviewer I think I'm straight forward in giving my opinions and explain why I feel the way I do. If I'm completely blown away by a novel I'm ranting and raving, if I thought a book was disappointing I'll let you know as well.
A few of my alltime favorite authors are : Dan Brown, Karen Marie Moning, Sherrilyn Kenyon, JR Ward, Elizabeth Amber (shoot straight up there with her novel Nicholas of the Lords of Satyr trilogy!!!!) Elizabeth Lowell, CL Wilson, Mary Reed McCall, Kinley MacGregor, Sara Bennett, Shana Galen and many many more.
Favorite characters from series : Drustan MacKeltar(KMM), Julian of Macedon(SK), Vishous (purrrrrrr(JRW)) Varian DuFey(KM), Rupert Giles (soz girls he just does something to me I can't explain!(JW)).
Apart from reading I'm also big into doing needlepoint & cross stitching but as off late that hobby has slumbered a bit but I'm trying to pick it up again.
Recently I changed home and now I'm a happy mother of two young kittens as well. named : Ash and Simi. They are such a lovely bunch to have around straight away they brought joy in my life!
Anyway those are just some titbits about me, I'm hoping to meet lovely BookAddicts here as well!!!!
