Thanks for your sweet words on VANQUISHED. It's the first in my Men of Roxbury House trilogy and I had a lot of fun researching and writing it. :)

Hi Ashley! I'm from the Author Author group and just wanted to welcome you to our group. As you might already know, January's "featured" author is Neil Gaiman, and we have two "secondary" authors, Ursula Le Guin and Terry Pratchett. If you're interested, you can choose a book written by one of these three authors, and after you've read it, please come post a review and star rating so the rest of us in the group know what you read and whether you liked it or not. Happy Reading!

I know I'm a bit late with the welcome, so my apologies for that. Of course, it's almost the end of the month, so just keep watching for an announcement for February's authors.

I see that we both like manga. Happened to come across your page and see a few on your shelf. Have you seen my collection?
I also see that you like good 'ol classics like The Cat in the Hat and Go Dogs Go. Pretty cool.

Hi Ashley, welcome to Play Book Tag! Each month, a random group member chooses a tag from the top 200 Shelfari tags - August's tag is inspirational. When you read a book that is tagged inspirational (or even just a book you think fits the tag, we're flexible) post a short review on the discussion thread entitled August tag: our collective reads for our shelf. From there, the book will be placed on the PBT shelf and hopefully discussion will ensue!

I recently read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and noticed you have Drums of Autumn on your shelf, would you recommend it? I have also read all of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants books and and very excited to see the second movie! I saw a couple of Chicken Soup books, if you have any others you have been waiting to read they fit in with the inspirational tag!

    See you on PBT!

    Happy reading,
    Nicole

Nope, I have that many books from the library. I just get excited and enter them all at the time I get home. haha. I can't read more then 2 and somedays I can't do that. I usually just stick to one, unless its a group read and is driving me crazy. So I perk myself up with something else a bit.
Yea yea yah, gotta read Twilight gotta read it before the movie comes out in December. Books always better then the movies.

Well your in for a real treat when you read the Twilight books. They are so good. I was like okay people enough about that stupid book already. So finally I had to read it to see what the fuss was about. Well zomg I am in LOVE with the series!! I tend to read on my moods too. LOL Sometimes its mystery, sometimes romance, sometimes paranormal, sometimes a combo of all 3. Sometimes I look for humorous romances to lighten my mood.
    Happy Reading!!!
