This book was published as a prequel to Blood and Bone and Collateral Damage. It introduces the key characters and answers a lot of questions people asked. But don't be surprised that there's a lot of action and character development but not much of a mystery. It's not a brain-teaser like Blood and Bone and Collateral Damage, but more of an urban thriller.

This was my shot at a serial killer (or is it a copycat) killer story with a serious femme fatale. Best read after Blood and Bone.

This is a new version of the first book I published. Very much a traditional hard boiled detective with a corkscrew plot leading to a surprise ending.

I'd read this one after the other 3 Hannibal Jones mysteries. It moves the character development into a new zone. This was my attempt at a big conspiracy/little villain story.
