Like many of you, I love to read books - of all kinds, depending on my mood and quest or thirst, ruling high at any particular moment. So much so, I may go in a frenzy of buying spree on the "subject of the moment" and once the books are on my shelf - happily "forget" to actually read them :-) And that is how you find books on my shelf which seldom fall into any single category.
Many of the books are collected / bought in an impulse after an hour or two of browsing at book stores and often in second hand book shops. My typical style is to read the dust jacket, get fascinated, draw a stool to sit near the shelf of the book store to flip through the pages inside, and then pick up the ones - you are right - that catches my mood of the moment. And when that subject vanishes from my mind for some reason, in another typical cleaning frenzy, some books will be discarded - neatly packed and gifted to lending libraries - sometimes some titles never read after the initial "flipping" through :-)
So what you see here are the books that escaped my cleaning spree and some are collected by the rest of my family members. Thus to put the long story short - I may not be able to discuss on many of the titles shown in "My Shelf" - but I promise you some day - I will :-)
Someday I'll try to read them all (!!!) and give you my opinion - a well read opinion :-)
Meanwhile happy reading to all of you.
Aruna
P.S: Any one has any idea how to include Tamil Books?!!
