Greetz dude, you is world champion...!
Arjen, I think you would really enjoy reading "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton, "The Farseer Trilogy" by Robin Hobb, "The First Law Trilogy" by Joe Abercrombie, "The Millenium Trilogy" by Steig Larsson, "The Night Angel Trilogy" by Brent Weeks, "The Fourth Realm Trilogy" by John Twelve Hawks, and "Inside the Third Reich" by Albert Speer. Enjoy and READ ON...
Heej Arjen, via deze weg de beste wensen veur 2010! Ik zie al een tijdje ook Kalmar bij je woonplaats staan. Woon je daar nu?

Hi
I think that is it, although I haven't read it in 20 years. I remember some details about his escape from the bunker (he vomited the poison and only grazed himself with the bullet), his admission of his identity years later and desire to go on trial to publicly defend his movement, and that he was executed at the end.
When I have time I will dig out my copy and check.
Hope this helps
Duke
Thanx, thats nice! i don't know whats the problem, maybe they are the growing life responsibilities. Teaching and translation are taking me away, but I will put reading as a priority.
Your Norsemen myths look great. I am with the 1001 books and the Historical fiction groups, also with some writers and poets groups. Can't keep up with them all!: ) Am reading "Tender is the Night" for August. I read "Madame Bovary" for July.
If you want to join, try to contact "Kristel" or just make sure you're already on it. They're actually reading another book for August but I am job-hunting so I don't want to take on a 2-volume just now. Glad you've joined up.
Mary
Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.
If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.
