Thanks so much for accepting my friend request. While I have you here, I was wondering . . . would you be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here (as well as on a few other book-related sites). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Do you plan on reading the sequels? I got through the second one (barely) and haven't really looked at the third yet....I may get to it someday. I didn't dislike the book, but I guess I had unrealistic expectations going in based on the musical. I'm interested to hear your opinion.

I havent read much Stephen King so I'm not really familiar with his type of writing. I know he has many popular books that I have meant to read at one point or another, but never got around to. The ending in I Am Legend might not have pleased people who wanted the movie to end with a bang, as it is a more subtle ending, but still very emotional. It also gives a meaning to the name of the book, which was kind of attempted in the movie, but didn't work as well.

Yea I hear that I've been studying a lot lately because I have a final wednesday, so reading time has been at a minimum. I completely agree, books are almost always better than their movie adaptations, but I also like to see the movie first. That way it's easier to picture the characters, setting etc. That's great that you plan to read I Am Legend it really is a good book, but almost completely different from the movie (in a good way). It makes you wonder why they changed so many things, when it was so good to begin with. I'm gunna have to add The Shining to my list, loved the movie, Jack Nicholson is awesome in that.
