I'm so involved with another project at the moment that I forgot to say thank you for finding my edit errors and bringing them to my attention!
Glad you're helping to clean up the Shelfari catalog,
As I said, some of them could have been left. When I am in "editing" mode, I can get carried away. Just be certain to check the correct "role" so that we (Librarians) won't mistake these edits for Shelfari- inserted stuff. (Shelfari can really junk up a page, can't it?)
I just looked up the edit history. There were a couple of translators that could have been left (as non-primary) but the rest has no roles defined and some names were even listed as the author.
The Shelfari tool autopopulates a lot of this information. If the role hasn't been set, then the name shouldn't be on the list. It is my habit to, while I am working on a detail page, to remove such contributors. The contributors listed as author were definitely wrong. They were probably there because there are some miscombined derivative versions mixed in the almost 450 editions of the play.
Can't -- was apparently removed from the group by the other admin, when I disagreed with him about dairy (eye roll!)... but anyhow, that's cool, no sweat; just that now I'm getting email notifications for posts I can't respond to, which is aggravating... if you could fix it, or temporarily re-add me as a member so I can fix it (then I could leave again, no problem), I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
