“Very intense read this. The descriptions of the underwater horrors make for great literature. It's amazing that Werner survived throughout six years of warfare, with the odds so highly against him.
The only thing I felt missing was a more detailed description of his crewmembers, it left me feeling that he didn't pay much attention to the man he was undoubtedly trying his very best to save. He chose to tell his own story, his tragedies and accomplishments, which is a great story on its own. Still, I would've like to learn more about how his crewmembers were coping, whom he (mis)trusted and why.”
