“Well...that was disappointing. Let me just say, Charlaine Harris is talented, a total sweetheart, very funny and she has written one monster of a great series--this book just wasn't my cup of tea.

I was very underwhelmed by Dead Ever After, all the way through. I realize it was a "wrap it up" book but I would have liked more mystery. All of the other books kept me guessing at what was happening and who the bad guys were but this one spelled everything out (with the exception of one twist at the end) so I wasn't drawn in like I wanted to be.

I'm not mad, or sad, or happy or even content-- I'm indifferent, and that is a disappointing way to feel after investing so much time into a series. I'm still glad I read it but I hope the novella coming out in the fall makes me feel a little more resolved.”
