Aravind

I am an avid reader, a book freak to some who know me. The one time my family moved to a larger home back in India, the movers and packers complained that nearly almost all of the boxes were just books :)

Some of my favorite authors are Michael Crichton, Robin Cook, John Grisham, Agatha Christie, Robert Ludlum (but not all of them) and...more »

Oh yes, thank you for the note! And if you have not yet had a chance to see that cool device I was telling you about , you should really go see it. Again, first go to the website so that you can see the machine. Then just click on any of those links you see in that box you see to the left of the machine. Those links should help you understand some of the amazing ways that the machine is being used. I think all of that info is great and I hope it helps. So just copy and past this into your browser and you will see it here: www.thisispk.org/raddemo.html

I agree, "The Good Guy" is not the best example of Koontz' writing. His original stories such as "Night Chills", "Whispers", "The Phantom" and "Strangers" are truly horror stories. I think his newer books (probably after 1990) are more 'paranormal' than 'horror', and they just aren't scary any more. Try one of his older books, you might like it.

    Eclectic Book Club Peeps:

All righty, let's have those nominations for our next big read. What's everyone in the mood for?

Post your selections in the "Genres" thread and we'll hash it out. If that takes too much energy, I will put all genres nominated in a hat and pick one at random!
