“I really enjoyed this book. I would have enjoyed it even more if it hadn't been for the tragic ending. I guess it is just a bit too real to life for the Victorian romance I had been expecting.”

“Far from being just a book about a fantastical story about a gruesome Creature, this book explores in depth the meaning of responsibility, revenge, consequences. I loved it! ”

“I had hoped Dracula would be much like Frankenstein, in the respect that it would explore deep themes such as jealousy, responsibility, revenge. For the most part, this seemed simply to be a vampire story, and only that.”

“I started listening to this on audio cd but decided not to finish it. I was looking for a Biblically grounded story, and was very disappointed. The author seems to downplay any Biblical significance, even contradicting the Word in places, and instead conentrates more on pagan worship, putting that in a positive light. From listening, I wouldn't have known the author was Jewish. This book strikes me as a very good woman-power book but not one that compliments the Biblical account.”
