    Hi April,

    You said it just right. Many comments in the Amazon site have said how it is an example of friendship and the strength of the human spirit. Frances' first words in the book, describing what happened to her, and yet she survived is a great introduction to this wonderful book.

    I loved this book, and had to get it from the library, though it was hard for them to find it. Sadly, time was limited for me to read the book. As it is out of print, I can't get a copy to keep anywhere. Tell me what you think of it.

    Good to hear from you. Right now, I'm reading the Frances Farmer autobiography "Will There Really Be A Morning?". Frances was the 1940's movie star locked in an asylum by her mother.

    Dear aprilblossoms123, I would love to be able to read more, but I now have to care for my ailing Father, that does not leave much time with also caring for my twin boys, ages 11 and the household. I do need to make time for my reading and also some time to spend with my friends, wish we could chat over some coffee and get to know eachother, friends are a good thing to have. Maybe we can get toknow eachother over time.

    What an eclectic range of books you have. Have you read the Patrick O'Brien series and esp. the Dorothy Dunnett's (I recommend the Niccolo books) because both would, fictionally, compliment the reading you are doing or are planning. Do read The Little Prince. It will take no time but its lessons are memorable and will stay with you. Cheers, Tyler
