I'm a writer of short fiction. I read all kinds of things. My real library is in boxes in my living room since I'm moving soon, so this shelf is the best I could do from memory on less than a half cup of coffee.

I have a small child who's prevented a lot of reading for me in the last 2 years, but has suddenly and finally begun to allow me to do so once more. I'm really excited about Miranda July's new collection. I'm working on a collection of my own. And presently taking a break from Flannery O'Connor's complete Short Stories.

My first published story recently got a good review on NewsPages.com, where they review Literary journals. My story appeared in Sou'Wester's fall '06 edition. « less
