The Scorpion is back – with a vengeance – and as he mounts his vicious attack on the Old Race, he’s determined to take out anyone who stands in his way...meanwhile, Dan Regal’s crucial education at Snisnar is reaching its end as the young warrior learns to gird himself for the danger that lurks outside the school’s protective walls...however, nothing can truly prepare him for the blinding wrath of the Scorpion that awaits...

Scorpio Rising, the fourth installment of The Noricin Chronicles, quickly proves to be the most compelling one yet. In it, author Mark Sheldon adds an even deeper degree of drama and suspense to the winding saga of young Dan Regal’s life – a life that is soon threatened like never before by the vindictive Scorpion hot on his trail. Every bit as fantastical and imaginative as its predecessors, Scorpio Rising does a commendable job of introducing an intriguing new layer to Sheldon’s ongoing fantasy series, ensuring that readers will remain just as compelled to discover the outcome of Dan’s latest daunting challenge.

Creatively well-crafted, Scorpio Rising is a thoroughly engaging read – one that definitely leaves you wanting more.

When Belinda Wilson awakens one morning to find her body covered in scratches and bruises, she knows that her life has suddenly changed forever; what she doesn’t know, though, is just how significant that change really is. Eventually, Belinda discovers a long-secret community of demons, incubi, and succubi that has existed in New York City for centuries – unbeknownst to their fellow mortal citizens. Even worse: while some of the demons are content to coexist peacefully with humans – others are determined to enslave humanity for the fulfillment of their twisted sexual desires. Given the deadly truth with which she’s now faced, can Belinda help bring the demons’ evil scheme to an end...?

More Than Meets The Eye is an intriguing – albeit unusual – paranormal suspense thriller. In compelling fashion, author Michelle Robinson has crafted quite the engrossing page-turner, one that’s sure to keep readers guessing with the turning of each fresh page. With a curious mix of sci-fi, romance, and mind-bending fantasy, More Than Meets The Eye does more than simply engage the imagination – it takes it on a wild, tortuous ride through the nether regions of the mind, body, and soul. A recommended read.

Hired to serve as a bodyguard for a group of exotic dancers, embattled St. Louis Detective John Dark soon realizes – much to his chagrin – that there’s no such thing as an easy paycheck. When the dancers he’s sworn to protect are suddenly kidnapped and sent back in time to ancient Rome, Dark has no choice but to follow suit in an effort to bring them back safe. Of course, having to go up against the likes of gladiators, emperors, voodoo priestesses, and powerful deities certainly makes his task a bit more difficult than he’d suspect...

With Blood For The Masses, author B.L. Morgan proves that he’s a literary force to be reckoned with. Featuring one of the most genuinely compelling anti-heroes ever to grace the pages of a book, Morgan’s latest standout offering is an instant page-turning classic. Short on pretense and long on imagination, Blood For The Masses is a solidly crafted fantasy/suspense/sci-fi thriller featuring a highly intriguing cast of well-developed characters – anchored by none other than the inimitable Dark himself. Despite finding himself immersed in the depths of a mystical ancient culture, Dark nonetheless proves to be quite the formidable opponent as he fights for a cause greater to him than any other – his own. With a trademark knack for creating truly riveting stories that never fail to entertain, Morgan scores again with Blood For The Masses, a thoroughly entertaining tale guaranteed to leave readers craving the next installment in what’s quickly become a can’t-miss series. Highly recommended.

After having survived the horrors of segregation, the rigors of basic training, and two previous grueling stints in Vietnam, Army Sergeant Michael Bernoudy seems able to handle anything thrown his way; however, during his third tour of duty, his unit is ambushed in a vicious attack – and he magically awakens in a strange new world for which nothing could have prepared him. Soon, Bernoudy finds himself under the watchful eye of the beautiful young Ming Ling, daughter of the evil emperor The Purple Dragon, as she trains him to help overthrow the brutal tyrant. Little does Bernoudy know, though, the success of his mission will not only determine the fate of his new adopted world – but that of his old one as well...

Wildly imaginative, Negro In Nam is nothing if not creative. In it, author Michael Bernoudy takes what starts out as a moving account of his father’s troubled upbringing and turns it into a fantastical allegory of magic, action, romance, and suspense. Though clearly stating that the veracity of the story is to be determined by the individual reader, Bernoudy crafts his winding tale in such compelling fashion, it becomes difficult to decide just how much of it is true and how much is make-believe. Regardless of your ultimate opinion, Negro In Nam is no doubt a solidly entertaining read, one that is sure to stick with you long after the final page has been turned. Indulge and enjoy.

Book 3 in the Kaleidoscope series, A Taste Of Love is quite the intriguing read. In his typical, trademark fashion, author Michael Bernoudy blends the worlds of the natural and spiritual to craft a curiously supernatural tale that stretches the bounds of the imagination. Incorporating the practical manifestations of biblical scripture, Bernoudy interweaves an added element of mystery and suspense to his imaginative tale, seasoning his narrative with a not-so-subtle metaphorical twist. In the end, A Taste Of Love reads like a Biblical soap opera come to modern-day life, with just enough spiritual depth and hidden meaning to keep things interesting. An engaging piece of creative storytelling.
