Truly, a voluminous recollection from a man of deep insight. Reveals some sensitive religious harmony that prevailed in pre-independence India in a region which is now Pakistan. Altogether, it can be treated as a close history of RSS and the uprise of 'Hindutva' in India. A must read for every Indian interested to know about the events which have shaped India as she stands today.

An honest and well-researched account on what could have been the worst disaster in post-independence India.A sensitive topic presented in a literary fashion.

A critique of historical views. Can be termed as psychology behind history.

Though haven't digested the meaning of social contract, but I am surely convinced that it's the result of a higher level of intelligence. An early foundation stone to modern democracy.

Don't know why I ever wasted time on this.Nevermind, to err is human. There's nothing but pure nonsense in the book.

definitely, it was a purely imaginary work.Though not a complete scrap , it's not too relevant in the world we live.

The only novel I have read so far with great amount of interest. Infact, a historical event as the French revolution described in the most lucid and understandable format. That's what I like about Dickens.

A great poetic display of feelings. Not just feelings , but imagination to see the unseen. In perfect harmony with predilection of a philosopher. A masterly act!
