It's weird being defined by what you used to be. But I feel it is necessary to express where I came from before you can know who am I. I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. You've probably heard them knock on your door. Perhaps you were nice, or maybe you pretended not to be home. We actually had a special code for that called HBH or Home But Hiding. It was a very strange way to come up in the world. I was taught to avoid the world at any cost. Don't make non-JW friends. Focus on the Kingdom. That's JW terminology for putting your efforts towards spiritual purists. Well, that chapter of my life is closed now. I disassociated back in 2008. In doing this I lost a lot people I cared for. But in the end I gained so much more. Now I am the arbiter of my life. I've come a long way since 2008. I've gained many more friends and even lost a few more. In any case, I plan to embrace this world I was once determined to separate myself from. There's a lot of great new things in store for the future. I love fantasy novels, ghost stories, science fiction, plain science and so much more. Please feel free to reach out to me if you know of any good books to read.
