I'm off work today. It is freezing cold here-around the Chicagoland area! Have 6" of snow (which did make for a white Christmas) and am being really lazy. I have family in from out of town and will do some visiting for the next few days, work the next three and then off Friday. What are you studying in school? Are you off this week? Maybe that' s a dumb question, I suppose they don't have a winter break in India?

Hi! You asked about Freakonomics. I am normally reluctant to recommend any book without knowing the tastes or interests of the person asking, but I found it very interesting. It is not about economics per se, but about applying economic theory to non-economic topics. By the way, the new book from Dubner and Levitt -- Superfreakonomics -- was released recently. It has nothing to do with Rick James! :-)
