Good reading but lacks of perspective. Details and information are useful but I require the opinion of the writer. I want to be lead into a conclusion and then, only then, decide my own outcome based on his experiences.

Is worth to read. Could be complemented.

This is the Opus Magnum of Vargas Llosa with no doubt. An strategic composure and an amazing capacity to create and describe characters in full essence.

To Llosa, a simple office clerk becomes clear and distinguishable. The details, the wording, the passion that this book transmits.

I gave 5 stars. It describe the North East of Brazil with such precision and passion. To Vargas Llosa, all the honours a genius deserves.
