Dear Anthropologus: If you enjoy a good thrillride from a book, please look for my new novel, HUNTING THE KING, coming this April
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.”
To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heartpounding booktrailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting, and I hope you will look for it. While it isn’t out until April, you can find it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Kunati Books. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think. Your response tells me if I am reaching the right readers. Thanks. Peter.
PS My cousin owns a bed and breakfast in New Zealand.

yes, it is a great story, when i get it written fit to read, i will send you a link. your points were right on, as much as i hate to admit it. i think i will be tearing all 60,000 words apart and starting over. in fact, i may lay this version aside. instead of trying to fix it, i will take the story as i now have it in my head and start over. btw, are you a professional novelist?
i know you are being intentioanlly vague. maybe you are famous. i dont care too much about that, unless you happen to be one of my favs, though i dont have any new zealand favs at the moment, just wonder what your experience is....
Hello A+. I've been trying to pick my favorites from your shelf -- what a challenge! I've got it down to the Eco, the Ihimaera, ENDURANCE, all the Melville, most of the Dickens, and some of the C.S. Lewis. Oh, and the Seuss.
What about POSSESSION by A.S. Byatt -- read that? How about Nabokov, Rutherfurd, Ian McEwan?
Just trying to get a bit more perspective on your reading style, you know.
